WOW Space Bus - Launched
C8 has worked with Space Connections to launch the WOW Space Bus. C8 were tasked with project managing the design and delivery of the WOW Space Bus - an innovative outreach mobile vehicle.
The Wow Space Bus is owned by the College, funded by Yorkshire Forward and operated by Space Connections. It is a mobile outreach vehicle with a flexible learning space which can be used for children’s activities, training, corporate events, exhibitions and more.
The inside of this single-decker coach has been converted to look like a Spaceship. On-board activities include 3D technology (flight simulation and animation), a telescope, Moonrovers, a Mars landscape, Lego Mindstorm, a Planetarium, Activity Pods and Science Experiments. The activity pods contain activities covering a range of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) topics aimed at all key stages.
C8 project managed the whole project from start to finish including branding, interior and exterior design, website, marketing materials, signage, on going marketing. The WOW Space Bus is available for any type of event or activity contact the WOW team on 08456 522406.
